About me

I’m an agented, traditionally published author of three romance books, with two more coming next year. I have a MA in Medieval Warfare and an extensive background in proofreading.

Query Package Assessment

Your query package is the first step securing yourself an agent or publisher (apart from your sparkly manuscript, of course), and it’s essential it’s as polished as it can be.

This option will provide you with:

  1. Line by line edit of your first three chapters (up to 15,000 words)

  2. Line by line edit of your query letter

  3. Line by line edit of your synopsis

Add on a One to One chat to be taken within one month of receipt of your report.

Full Manuscript Report

I’ll read through your entire manuscript (up to 70,000 words), twice! Then you’ll have a report focusing on:

  1. Plot

  2. Pacing

  3. Structure

  4. Characters

  5. Setting

  6. Common Mistakes

  7. Anything else I think you’ll find helpful!

We’ll have a chat beforehand so you can let me know if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to focus on.

One to One Chat

Add on a One to One Chat to your Query Package Assessment or your Full Manuscript Report, to be taken within one month of receipt of your report.

One Off Chat

This is for anyone who wants a pick me up, someone to bounce ideas off, someone to give you feedback as and when you need it.

This option covers a 30 minute chat and verbal feedback on up to 1,000 words.

One to One Guidance

You want to chat about your writing every month, want a pick me up, some amazing cheerleading? Or perhaps you’d like some goal setting and being held to account. If you don’t know, we can work it out together. This covers a report on 4,000 words and a 30 minute chat.

The boring bits

Manuscript Report - I’ll provide two pages to see if you’re happy with how I work, and if you’re not, then we’ll leave it there! If you’re happy, then I’ll take a third of the fee, and the rest on receipt of the Report.

I fully understand life is tough, and I am happy to chat about payment plans. I can accept payment via Paypal or BACS.

My heart lives with Romance novels, but I read widely (and a LOT). I thoroughly enjoy

Some things I just don’t enjoy and wouldn’t be able to edit accurately.

  5. Fact checking - if you’re telling me that dinosaurs had feathers, then I’m going to believe you’ve done your own research!
